Day 135: Henry Hippo!
So for today’s drawing I’ve done a sketch of one of the toys that we got at Christmas for the new arrival were expecting in February in the form of a Taggie Hippo that we’ve named Henry.
Was a petty fun drawing despite being a bit rushed and fairly rough and I think it captures a pretty good likeness of the stuffed toy. It was pretty interesting trying to get the different textures down as well but I think I managed it ok.
The tags were the hardest part to of especially with the lack of colour afforded by pen and ink medium but that’s all part of the challenge with it (plus if I was that worried or put out by it I have the coloured pencils available to actually do something about it).
So there we go. I hope you all had a lovely New Years Eve and a good start tot he new year. I know ours will be eventful to say the least.
